I had a really good consultation with Doctor Wilkinson and he took the time to explain thoughts on what could be behind the cardiac issue that I had suffered, and also arrange the necessary tests to put my mind at ease about what may happen in the future. He was respectful, thorough, and I and happy with the care that I received. Because he took the time to walk through my specific issues it almost felt like a private consultation, and he walked me through to make my next appointment and ensure all flowed smoothly. I visited Dr Wilkinson on 17th September at Cobham Day Surgery. He examined me and kindly arranged an exercise ECG test at St Peter's Hospital shortly after which I attended. I am pleased to say everything went well and will be considered medically fit to drive buses again and start earning my livelihood. Many thanks again.

Peter took much time explaining in simple language to my 46 year old son the condition of his heart and the problem of a blood clot. He arranged for prompt treatment and assessment at St Peter's Hospital. Unfortunately peter's itervention was just too late, my son died on 11th February 2019. I have had treatment following a heart attack from Peter and I have had many followup exercise ECGs he has arranged and reported on. This was for my CAA flying licence and for my HSE professional diving. The CAA specialist commented on the excellent standard of Peter's work and the knowledgeable reporting of my ECGs. I regained my unrestricted CAA commercial flying medical seven months after the heart attack.

I went to this Dr with many questions about my symptoms. I felt patronised and dismissed, I left feeling very upset and as though I was wasting the clinic time. He did not take my concerns seriously and dismissed a query I had been given by both my GP & another consultant which was the reason for my referral to the department. I am fortunate to have gone on to another specialist hospital, thanks to my wonderful GP. The diagnosis the GP had originally queried was given straight away after a test that Dr Wilkinson could have referred me for but did not even wish to explore with me despite me referring back to symptoms a number of times. I am so concerned that this diagnosis was refused to be discussed and I was told just to get used to it and live with it and yet the indicators were sitting there within the results he had been given and he said the results are 'reassuring' when they were actually far from it. I am lucky to now have an action plan to work with and now know my symptoms had a very real medical cause.
